Nested in Mathare slum of Nairobi, Guardian Shining Stars Academy (GSSA) offers quality education to nurture young minds aged 3 to 14 through the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) in Kenya. Our safe and nurturing environment empowers students with literacy, numeracy, and technological skills, breaking the cycle of poverty. Together with our supporters, GSSA creates opportunities and promotes development that not only benefit our students but uplift the entire local community.
At Guardian Shining Stars, we prioritize the well-being and the future of our students like they are our own. Children are valued as unique individuals and receive student-centered education, participating in the bilingual CBC program. Around 300 pupils, even mix of girls and boys, attend GSSA. More are waiting to join us!
Every year, our students receive great results on the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination. Our young, qualified, and local teaching team goes beyond the classroom to offer unwavering support. Students at Guardian Shining Stars also gain exciting opportunities to explore their talents through extracurriculars such as sports, music, dance, and field trips.
