At the end of the 2022-2023 second term at GSSA, it’s time to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes who make our school a second home for students. Our staff awards are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our teachers, caretakers, guards, and administrative staff.
This term, we are thrilled to honor three outstanding individuals who have gone above and beyond to create a nurturing environment for our students. Taking the well-deserved title of Best Female Staff is Molly Akinyi, the guardian of cleanliness at our school. She ensures that our school compound, classrooms, washrooms, and utensils are spotlessly clean, maintaining high hygiene standards for our children.

In the 2nd runner-up position, we have Teacher Adam Munyendo, an irreplaceable asset to our school. His passion for science and dedication to helping students shine is truly commendable. After successfully completing the business training program at the University of British Columbia, he has now taken on the role of a trainer for the LIFT entrepreneurship program. As he continues his journey towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science at the University of People, we eagerly anticipate the invaluable computer skills he will impart to our students.

And finally, our top honor goes to Teacher Evans Ojiambo, a favorite among students for his lively and engaging classes. His commitment to teaching a wide array of subjects has left an significant mark on our students’ educational journey.

To our three remarkable staff members and all our dedicated teachers and staff, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for making GSSA a place where students thrive. Your tireless efforts and unwavering dedication do not go unnoticed. Thank you for making our school a better place every day!
